Sad News
Dear User, We are very sorry to announce that, due to a combination of the difficulties of running old software on modern servers (which would now require a major OOOTTA rewrite) plus recent changes to the data protection laws, it is no longer possible to continue to provide the OOOTTA Logbook. The OOOTTA site is therefore going to close in the next month. From today therefore it will not accept any further entries but of course remains accessible for the next month for users to log in to in order to download their data.
Please note that for European Union (EU) users or non-EU users treating EU patients, the new European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) guidelines stipulate that your logbook should not hold person-identifiable data (e.g. name, postcode) unless you have their consent, and that any data be downloaded to an appropriately secure place.
We are very sorry to have to close the OOOTTA logbook as it has been around in various forms for around 25 years but for the above reasons it is no longer practical to continue with it. We very much apologise for this but hope that you have found it useful in the time that you have used it.
NB: As the site will be closing shortly it is very important for all users to download their data as described here. Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure you download your data as a work book and not the default option of a webpage (which will no longer exist when oootta closes).
